Once this profile is clear, the next challenge is to build a robust database of actual customers who not only fit the profile but are also primed to engage and buy. What was the objective?
To build a robust database of potential customers. As this business has just launched, this is a top priority.
To grow client’s LinkedIn connections to match with their ideal customer profile.
What did we do?
Working with the client, we created a list of 25 businesses that match the customer profile. We used LinkedIn to find relevant contacts at those businesses and sent connection requests with a personalised message.
What did we achieve?
We sent 550 connections requested over one month, which resulted in 166 connections accepted, 30% acceptance rate.
Next steps
The next steps were to generate relevant, informative and engaging content on LinkedIn, so the new contacts would see regular posts, become aware of the brand and it’s main messaging and then, engage with the posts. They were sent another personalised message outlining the main pain points they may encounter and how this business can help to overcome these problems, with a call to action to request more information.
We will continue to monitored on how successful this campaign was, with monthly reports to see how many sales are generated as a result.
